#RainbowSnippets: Necromancers

Happy almost Crimbo! Yay! – If all has gone to plan I’m having my op right now so this is a scheduled post but I shall be here in the flesh soon enough 😀 Wishing you all a most awesome and fabulous Christmas and New Year and hugest blessings on all your festivities! Thankyou all so so much for a wonderful 2019, for all your support, kind comments and encouragement it has really kept me going!  😀

Right – on with the show!

Here’s my #RainbowSnippets post for this week (a wee bit over 6 sentences, sorry, but some of them are only one or two words!) – if you’re new to this, Rainbow Snippets is a chance to read and share 6 sentences of LGBTQIA+ fiction every Saturday. There’s a huge variety from Steampunk, like mine, to Romance, Fantasy, Paranormal, Comedy and everything in between. You can join the fun and read all the other fabulous snippets at the wonderfully friendly and supportive official facebook group here.

About 500 plus years after the events in the first book (The Curious Adventures Of Smith And Skarry) a forgotten cult are still obliviously serving their long-dead leader, Wiz, and trying to find the secret of immortality. Sort of. Actually daily temple life revolves more around knitting circles, bridge nights and summer fetes… until two novices stumble upon the secret of undeath themselves and unleash a couple of very unlikely ‘gods’ upon the unprepared and erstwhile peaceful community.

If you missed the last part you can catch up here:

rendered

To recap, we’ve just had Reynard bemoaning ( sound-of-music-style! ) ‘How do we solve a problem like Sheridan?’  XD … so Vivienne is going to reply…

“YOU COULD HAVE DEMOTED HIM FOR A START! I mean, I struggle daily to fathom why you even had him initiated, never mind promoting him to Arch Cleric..”
“What can I say? The red robes are an esoteric order, Vivienne, as such our number of applicants is minute in comparison to the other orders. We do not all have the luxury, enjoyed by you black robes, of being able to be overly selective. And Sheridan does have his strengths…”
“I shudder to think.”

Have a fabulous Christmas and New Year folks 😀 And don’t forget to check in at the #rainbowsnippets facebook group for more fabulous snippets of LGBTQIA+ fiction

Oh he’s brilliant. Vivienne is the king of pithy comebacks, I love him. I couldn’t help but burst out laughing. 😂 He could flay someone to bone with that tongue, he’s fabulous.😁 I adore these two 🥰 And love this story.❤️ Thank you so much for sharing…particularly from your hospital bed. Take care of you, my lovely.🌹💐🌹
