submissions/ interviews/ reviews
We aim to support writers, artists, musicians, makers and creators, if you would like to feature here please get in touch. Although we will do our best to email you with a link when your review / interview post is up on the blog, due to the amount of reading, reviewing, writing and work and family commitments we have, it simply isn’t always possible.
We therefore humbly ask that, as a courtesy, you follow and support our little blog and keep an eye out for your posts so that you can share them around your own social network.
Also please please check your post through the week for comments and reply to them, we have a friendly active following and when someone has taken the trouble to say they like the look of your book / product it’s just good manners to say thankyou 🙂
We are currently accepting guest posts on the themes of MYTHPUNK, STEAMPUNK, REPRESENTATION IN FANTASY FICTION or INDIE PUBLISHING. These can be an article related to any of those themes or a review of fiction, art or music. PLEASE DO NOT SEND AN ENQUIRY. Familiarise yourself with our blog posts for a while and then write your article or review and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org subject: Guest Post. We will notify you within a week or two if your post has been accepted. We do not pay for guest posts but you are free to provide your own bio and promotional / social media links at the end of your post.
We are more than happy to take part in blog tours for books / products we love – let us know the what, where and when by sending an email titled ‘blog tour?’ to email@example.com
Our review schedule is now full and we will not be accepting new submissions for the foreseeable future while we deal with the backlog. If you have a book / product you would like us to review please check back in April by which time we hope to be back on track.
REVIEW POLICY: We are passionate, book loving people who want to help fill the world with more fabulous, inclusive, diverse and delightful fiction. We only review books we LOVE, we refuse to waste time and blog-space with negativity or mundanity because we frankly find that depressing. We read every word of every book we are sent but If we can’t write a 4/5 star positive review for some reason we will let you know rather than publish a negative or so-so one.
